In spring 1988, I, Ludicrous began recording their follow up album to the successful It's Like Everything Else. After the unexpected popularity of the flexi-single Preposterous Tales and the first album, we had 11* songs ready having been unusually prolific in the previous 6 months. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the album never saw the light of day. Kaleidoscope Sounds went belly up and what was worse all the master tapes were impounded by the studio in lieu of payment which meant we were never able to release the songs in the way we wanted. Some emerged on the third album Light and Bitter which were taken from a cassette of the album and therefore the quality suffered. Listening to it now, it's a great regret that the album did not come out when it was supposed, in the autumn of 1988, as it would have kept the momentum of the band going (we were not able to release anything until A Warning to the Curious in 1989) and the songs also sought to comment on what was going on at the time - late 1980s boom, conspicuous consumption, etc.

Anyway, here it is in the form that I would have liked it released and the correct track order.
